Julie Schumacher Cohen, long involved in Israel-Palestine peacebuilding, is a member of the Catholic Advisory Council of Churches for Middle East Peace where she previously served as deputy director. She is completing a PhD in political science at Temple University in the areas of American and comparative politics and political theory, focusing on issues of religion and politics, polarization and conflict, and forced displacement and territorial rights.
