Kathy Powell, a communications professional, lives in Roswell, Georgia, with her husband Kent and three children. As the chief dreaming officer of Ignatian Ministries and co-founder with Becky Eldredge, Kathy is passionate about teaching people the gifts of Ignatian spirituality, honoring the lives of her two babies gone much too soon, and walking with families who have lost a child due to miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss.

Ignatian spirituality taught me to bring my whole self to God, in joy or in pain

St. Ignatius doesn't ask us to ignore the reality of tragic events, but invites us to trust that God is in all of it, caring about our entire reality and cura personalis, our whole selves.
