Toni Rowland

Toni Rowland, with her late husband, Chris, is coordinator and founder of MARFAM — Marriage and Family Life Renewal Ministry in South Africa. Toni has a 50-year history as a music minister, catechist and family minister having developed a program for parish family ministry while employed at the Southern African Catholic Bishops' Conference. She completed a Master of Philosophy in Christian spirituality, but claims her ongoing formation and education has been QBE (qualified by experience) in writing and publishing many small publications, the latest being Families Caring for God's Creation, as well as daily eco-family-friendly reflections published digitally.

In God's waiting room, creatures great and small cultivate hope together

During a simple interdenominational prayer service, themed "Becoming seeds of hope," retirement village residents collected, shared and planted seeds to give joy and hope in the weeks to come.
