Tony Magliano, whose column Making a Difference, appears Mondays on the NCR website, will be speaking in Madison, Wis., at Our Lady Queen of Peace church Thursday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m.

Here is the announcement from the parish bulletin:

Using the framework of the Gospel and Catholic social teaching, internationally syndicated social justice and peace columnist Tony Magliano will speak about the moral issues surrounding war, violence, poverty, hunger, capital punishment, abortion and environmental degradation. Tony will discuss how all these issues are inter-connected. His talk “Advancing the Kingdom of God in the 21st Century” will be Thursday October 6 , 7 pm.
