Social Service Sr. Simone Campbell said Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan's new anti-poverty plan is a "step forward" for mentioning poverty but calls his solutions "simplistic." In her Aug. 7 trip to Kansas City, Mo., Campbell, executive director of the lobbying group NETWORK, visited NCR headquarters to talk about health care, her book A Nun on the Bus and more.
In the 14-minute video interview, Campbell expresses hope in Ryan's step forward, saying, "I think we can find common ground if he is serious about this."
