Take a moment to reflect on the photo.

I live my life in widening circles

that reach out across the world.

I may not complete this last one

but I give myself to it

I circle around God, around the primordial tower.

I’ve been circling for thousands of years

and I still don’t know: am I a falcon,

a storm, or a great song?

— Rainer Maria Rilke, Book of Hours, translated by Anita Barrows and Joanna Macy

What is one climate issue that you might advocate for? Write a letter, make a call, sign a petition, make a donation, cast a vote, etc. What would be your next step?

Effecting large-scale, systemic change for the planet can feel like a daunting, or impossible task. An organization that can be a companion on this journey is Green Faith — inspiring, educating, organizing, and mobilizing people of diverse religious and spiritual backgrounds globally for environmental action.

Green Faith's work is based on shared beliefs: "protecting the Earth is a sacred act… environmental stewardship is a moral responsibility."

Special thanks for the power of circles everywhere
