Trump Declares Opioid Crisis a 'Health Emergency' but Requests No Funds: I guess the president thinks that opioid addicts, like Puerto Ricans after Hurricane Maria, "want everything to be done for them." I imagine actually funding a response to a health emergency will throw "our budget a little out of whack." After all, when they took that first pain pill, those addicts knew what they were signing up for.
