NCR is live from the Vatican early Sunday morning, following the ceremony making Popes John XXIII and John Paul II saints of the Roman Catholic church.
As things unfold, you can follow along at my Twitter feed for rolling updates on the event here: @joshjmac.
The streets around the Vatican were already near full by 7:00 AM in Rome Sunday for the event, expected to start at about 9:30 here (3:30 AM on the U.S. East Coast). Many pilgrims from around the world slept on the streets Saturday night, or instead attended all-night vigils at churches around Rome.
If you are interested in watching the event live via the Vatican's Television Center, there will be several media streams available here once things get underway.
Vatican Radio will also be hosting a livestream of the event with English language commentary by Basilian Fr. Thomas Rosica, a Canadian who has been assisting the Vatican's press office with English language translation. You will find that stream on the right column of Vatican Radio's website.
